The Ceiba: A family history

An independent documentary project based on an intimate family history revolving around my relatives in Cuba

This documentary was filmed in Cuba at the beginning of 2020. I conducted interviews with various family members, asking about a specific piece of family owned land which contains a sacred tree, a ceiba, and engaging in discussion with them to uncover what it means to them and what the history means for our family.
